The First International Symposium of innovative application of recycled rubber is born with the goal to develop the knowledge of the different applications of the rubber obtained from recycling process. Tyre and rubber waste may really be transformed in valuable resources which yields a broad range of costs-effective materials that are used in an expanding array of civil engineering construction and rehabilitation application as well as myriad industrial and consumer products.

This edition of the symposium is divided in two sessions:

- Morning, Scientific Session
The Scientific Session is a more specialized and technological meeting with most people from academic world, company and industry of defined range of activity. The theme of this edition is:
“Tyre Recycling in special pavements: technical and materials evolution in roads construction and asphalts”

- Afternoon, Workshop
The workshop is more accessible and give a general and broad recognition of the sector all over the hosting country ad Europe. The theme of this edition is:
“Tyres Recycling, Arising and Outlet perspective”
